As the Nordic Brand Manager at Etex Nordic A/S, you will be a key resource for branding Cedral (fiber cement sidings) to building supply stores, carpenters, contractors, and end-users in the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, and Denmark).
The marketing strategy is defined through collaboration between the European marketing team and the Nordic sales team. In this partnership, the marketing strategy is developed, creative and innovative marketing initiatives are generated, and brainstorming sessions occur to create content that will brand Cedral. The goal is to raise awareness about Cedral while generating leads for the sales team.
What can we offer you as a Nordic Brand Manager?
A job that allows you to work both locally and internationally. Your primary location will be the office in Malmö or Fredericia. You will have a high degree of flexibility in your job, including online meetings and the option to work from home. Additionally, there will be travel days (10-15 travel days annually) that you will need to incorporate into your schedule and family life. These travel days may involve planned marketing activities in the Nordic region, work meetings with the marketing team (mostly online), or meetings at the headquarters in Brussels, the Nordic Headquarter in Fredericia or the office in Malmö.
Your responsibilities and duties will be diverse, encompassing both strategic and hands-on tasks in a varied workday, including:
- Prioritizing local marketing activities in alignment with regional goals and subsequently developing a marketing plan for the Nordic region.
- Co-creating and delivering campaigns and activities to increase awareness and support the branding of Cedral in the Nordic region.
- Engaging with relevant marketing agencies to establish strong partnerships for the development of campaigns and materials.
- Planning and participating in events with, among others, lumberyards, carpenters, and housing associations in the Nordic region.
- Creating digital content for websites, social media, email marketing, etc.
- Staying curious and keeping abreast of local market trends and competitor marketing activities.
- Translating branding activities developed by the marketing team into English and adapting them to the Nordic languages, markets, and customers.
- Participating in various projects within the marketing team.
- Analyzing and evaluating campaign performance and return on investment.
- Ongoing monitoring of the annual budget.
Are you our future colleague?
You will report to the European Brand Manager for Cedral, based in France. You should be self-motivated and comfortable with remote management. Within the Nordic organization, you will have many points of contact, working closely with the Nordic marketing team and the digital activator.
Your engagement and personality will help you build strong relationships with your colleagues, and you will effectively communicate internally to ensure that your colleagues are informed about Cedral's marketing initiatives and market activities.
Cedral provides facade cladding for construction, targeting lumberyards, carpenters, housing associations, and end-users. Your interest in architecture and aesthetics, in addition to your marketing expertise, will form the basis for creative and innovative campaigns targeting this specific audience.
The qualifications and background we consider important for our Nordic Brand Manager:
- You likely hold a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing.
- You have a minimum of 4-5 years of marketing experience. From previous roles, you have gained a solid understanding of both strategic and tactical marketing and can execute the marketing plans you develop.
- You are a strong communicator, fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
- You may have worked in international marketing before and have targeted Nordic customers.
