Consumer and Market Insights Manager with interest in Consumer Health


Fertin Pharma is a contract development and manufacturing company supporting healthier living for millions of consumers by offering excellent products to brand and private label companies world-wide.

Fertin Pharma has a solid business within the Nicotine Replacement Therapy category. However, as part of our diversification strategy we develop and market solutions within a broader nutraceutical and pharmaceutical space, including CBD (cannabinoids). The business development team is promoting solutions with active ingredients across formats such as gum, lozenge, melting tablets and pouches. This spans across a number of categories such as oral care, cough & cold, gastro intestinal, etc. to both branded and private label customers.

To further fuel this growth and deliver on our ambitious strategic targets we are looking for a dedicated and inspiring hands-on Consumer and Market Insights Manager (CMIM) to be part of the business development team.

As BtB CMIM at Fertin you will be responsible for providing market and consumer insights within each of our main business areas being nicotine containing products, CBD, and Consumer Health.

Business Development is a group of highly dedicated and really nice colleagues. You will be referring to and cooperating with the Marketing Manager but will be expected to enjoy taking responsibility and working independently.

Expect no more than 20 travel days per year to gather insights in Europe and US, mainly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You design and plan how you generate world-wide market and consumer data respectively within each of the nutraceutical categories
  • You implement the continuous generation of market and consumer insight into each geographical market or nutraceutical category
  • You analyze and transform the market and consumer insights into communication that is easy to digest internally in Business Development as well as among our external business partners and customers
  • Together with the marketing manager you transform consumer and market insights into concepts and elements of the overall Fertin communication
  • You identify opportunities for further exploration of our delivery formats (chewing gum, lozenges, pouches, etc.)
  • You provide competitor analysis on demand in respective categories as well as for yearly strategy review
  • You provide insights into customers, retailers or other existing or potential partners of Fertin

Required experience and competencies:

  • You are curious and have an analytical mindset including an open-minded approach to data, interpretations, and conclusions
  • You have an international outlook through professional experience and like to take responsibility as well as initiatives
  • You master Excel, relevant databases, analytical tools and data processing programs enabling you to manage large amounts of data and to synthesize, analyze and communicate succinctly
  • Your experience could be from the market or consumer analysis company (Wilke, Ipsos, Gallup, etc.) and you hold a relevant educational degree from a university or the like
  • You are a team player and service minded and finally you possess strong English communication skills
