- Hands-on team player with a structured work method Are you an ambitious person, with the course of your career set on the field of technical drawings and organisational support? Your profile You have a diploma or bachelor that includes 3D technical design understanding, and 3+ years’ of practical experience from a technical company with good results. You have executed projects where you were the interface between internal players fulfilling global customers’ requests for new products. Your methods are structured and hands-on, and you can document good teamwork and results in your current job.
You are familiar with making and reviewing technical drawings for manufacturability and for compliance with relevant standards. You are probably the solid rock in the organisation making sure everything is according to plan and that nothing falls between two chairs. You need expert English language skills to perform in this job, and you take energy from both technical drawing reviews, which is roughly half of the job, and project tasks, which is the other half.
Your hands-on working style, good teamwork and structured project management skills will be key tools for you in having success in the job both short and long term, since you will develop many relations within the organisation among both white and blue collar colleagues.
The job The key mission is to review 3D drawings of products and tools for our OE products based on the application where it is used, so that our products are supplied timely in the right quality. We focus more on manufacturability and compliance than creativity. You will check compliance of the product in the specific application against industry and customer standards, participate in APQP/PPAP processes, and manage data controlling for the products you are working on, ensuring alignment with Brembo Global R&D.
You will coordinate the timely delivery of OE customer prototypes to make sure that you achieve the planned results together with the rest of the team. You will take responsibility of drawings, so you have to be a structured and committed person understanding both administrative and production processes
The job requires a high level of proactivity and service-orientation – and a clear team mindset. Being able to work in a dynamic international team and take an active interest in preserving and developing our very good working climate and our processes is pivotal.
Your specific tasks will be • Responsible for 3D/2D drawing review of new OE products and components
• Responsible for dimensions and tolerances
• Be the knowledge-point about Brembo standards used in the drawings
• Carry out assigned tasks defined by your manager in relation to APQP/PPAP
• Drawing responsible for customer prototypes incl. LEAN-board/excel list of ongoing projects
• Coordination of timely delivery of prototypes in cooperation with colleagues in the office and in the factory
• Participation in weekly APQP meeting
• Participation in weekly prototype meeting
• Stand-in for department manager, and lead internal meetings
Your profile/qualifications • A technical background with a diploma or bachelor that includes technical 3D design
• 3+ years’ experience within 3D CAD in a manufacturing company
• Experience with APQP/PPAP or similar processes
• Experience technical compliance standards
– preferably in the automotive industry, but not a requirement
• Some experience project management
• A proactive personality working persistently to improve results and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Preferably experience with Inventor 3D CAD
• Skilled in MS Office
• Service minded team player who is not afraid of challenging the status quo
