We are developing product’s that our customers can use to manage/book engagement with Maersk.

We are currently on the search for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will become the second QA in the team and work alongside 14 developers working in our Mobile Apps team where you will be an integral part of ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience using the Maersk app. You will be around highly skilled peers that you will learn and get inspiration from.

The team is actively developing the Maersk mobile app used by our customers throughout the world. While Maersk moves goods around the world, technology is what moves Maersk. The mobile app team is at the forefront of this innovative movement, building the next generation intuitive application, providing customers with a simple to use, end-to-end offering of products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for mobile apps
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Create automated test suites
• Performing manual testing (System, Exploratory Testing)
• Participate in sprints and drive the QA process for mobile app releases.
• Breaking the system while performing evil laughs

What we are looking for

• Experience in Android, iOS Mobile Application testing
• Should have hands-on experience in automated testing of Mobile apps (Android & iOS) using Appium
• Must have fluency in java or python or any other object oriented language
• Should have working experience with Maven & TestNG
• Essential - Good experience of the management of all or part of the test execution phase in projects.
• Responsible for full life-cycle testing activities (manual) of applications based on defined Requirements.
• Strong experience in API's and back end testing (REST API , Postman, Rest Assured)
• Expertise in Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application
• Proactive individual who takes ownership of issues
• High quality oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to break the system
• Well versed with app distraction testing.
• Understanding of different databases and can be able to write basic SQL queries.
• Should have working experience in Agile Methodology and should have understanding of sprint iteration.

It would be nice if you have:

• Understanding of non-functional testing (preferable k6, jmeter, loadrunner)
• Working experience on Flutter apps or know about Appium-flutter-driver
