We're seeking an Innovation Consultant who thrives in a creative environment but values structured work on innovation projects. In Tryg's Discovery team, you'll translate long-term market trends into new ideas and concepts that drive topline growth. You'll test these ideas through small and creative experiments, while also ensuring they're desirable, feasible, and viable. You'll handle innovation-project visualization, communication, and support business units in creating the right business models for different customer segments.
As an Innovation Consultant, you'll work with talented colleagues with top-tier innovation and consulting backgrounds. Our dynamic environment fosters personal and professional growth, and you'll be part of a strong Nordic community.
Your focus as an Innovation Consultant will be on identifying and evaluating opportunity spaces, validating new co-creation concepts with startups, and identifying new insurance products and services. You'll create insights into macro trends and shifts in the competitive landscape that influence Tryg's opportunities. You'll evaluate new business models, and engage with customers to understand their needs. You'll rapidly test potential solutions, and bring ideas from paper to reality.
As an Innovation Consultant, you'll shape the innovation agenda and take ownership of developing innovative products and services.

- Drive our innovation agenda within the early stage of the innovation process with concept- and product ideation, tightly linked to the relevant market dynamics and trends we observe around us
- Carry out early-stage customer testing, pretotyping and MVPs for market validation
- Engage in collaborations and co-creation with start-ups/scale-ups
- Work closely together with our Business Units and serve all customer segments in The Tryg Group across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

About you | Creative and entrepreneurial
We are looking for these key qualifications and skills for the position as Innovation Consultant in Nordic Innovation Discovery:
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to translate customer needs and market trends into specific solutions
- Experience with testing ideas and concepts using an innovation toolkit
- Strong analytical skills combined with an empathetic, entrepreneurial and curious mind
- Great people skills and motivation to engage in stakeholder management
- Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian or Swedish)
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience across management consulting, venture capital, startups, corporate innovation, business development within insurance
- Data collection and analysis experience including customer interviews, surveys, market reports, industry research, and analytical modelling
- Awareness of Lean Startup methodologies
- Program or project management experience, ensuring deadlines are met and projects run efficiently
- Skilled at navigating large organizations and working on multiple cross-functional projects
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively to senior stakeholders
- Continually engaged in learning and personal progression
