As the Manager Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding at SAS you are responsible to nurture and develop a talent acquisition and employer branding strategy that creates and grows SAS employer attractiveness in the labour and customer marketplace.

Your role is to set the strategy and approach to how SAS is viewed in the labour market, how we attract new people to our company, how we build and improve our partnerships across the recruitment and employer branding landscape, through data-driven strategic workforce planning and quality of hire.

As a Manager Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand at SAS you are responsible for supporting recruitment activities and develop, coach and manage a team. You will take responsibility for shaping and driving the strategic and operational output of the TA team. You will set what success and metrics look like for the TA/EB team including strategies, policies, ways of working, communication and training.

In your role you will work closely with hiring managers challenging and empowering them to make the right decisions when it comes to hiring people to SAS. You will also work closely with HR Partners and HRBPs as well as validate and manage partnerships with vendors, partners and other communities to strengthen SAS attractiveness as an employer.

The Manager Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding purpose is to grow the SAS community by creating and implementing the strategy for attracting, hiring, and setting the foundation for a highly engaged candidate experience in which candidates become employees, who have the capabilities for success and add to and live SAS`s culture and values.

  • Owning and defining our TA strategy and employer brand in the context of transformation and new ownership
  • Role model leadership is your key to success - You get to build a world class recruitment function through bringing TA inhouse
  • Working with operations and corporate leaders as we ramp up so to achieve hiring targets and shape our culture for the future. A focus on strategic workforce planning and working with a People Analytics Team will be required to be successful.

Key Responsibilities


Below is only a flavor of what this role includes, as we would expect that the person would come with their own thoughts and plans to really challenge and move SAS forward.

Talent Acquisition

  • Puts the candidate at the centre of the process so that our approach to recruiting the future people to SAS always moves SAS strategy and culture forward.
  • Creation, implementation and continuous improvement of the talent acquisition strategy that demonstrates SAS’s Employee Value Proposition at every touch point.
  • Build processes that ensure a SAS relationship quality end-to-end candidate experience.
  • Define, create, and continuously improve the global hiring process, candidate funnels and throughput to critical competencies.
  • Build tools and approaches to enable SAS leaders and HR to identify potential candidates for critical roles. Set the internal “Scout” recruitment process to recruit first internally before searching externally.
  • Create, implement and improve “license to hire” to increase the quality of our hiring managers.
  • Lead and coach the Talent Acquisition team so that they are empowered to achieve hiring goals, grow their skills and build a pipeline of talent leaders within our organization which are underpinned by KPIs.

Employer Branding

  • Establish a marketing & sourcing strategy and that builds a consistent recurring pipeline of top-of funnel candidates for key roles by meeting or exceeding targets for quality applicants
  • Build a network of external partners that live SAS values and culture who we can build relationships with to deliver people to fulfil SAS competency needs.
  • Build SAS candidate centric approach to how we design our careers sites, candidate portals, digital strategies and managing talent acquisition through social media
  • Define and execute a location strategy and talent brand strategy to hire the talent we need, where we need it, at the right level and establish SAS attractiveness as an employer.


Experience



  • Experience in designing and representing a talent acquisition proposition and brand, with the ability to embody that brand with candidates and managers
  • Experience in creating and delivering a talent acquisition strategy, including the development of KPIs, targets and data
  • Knowledge of candidate centric approaches to designing careers sites, candidate portals, digital strategies and managing talent acquisition through social media
  • Has a toolkit for the proactive sourcing of candidates from across the globe, based on the strategic requirements of SAS
  • Experience in leading a talent acquisition team
  • Exposure to global and matrix organizations within Talent Acquisition.
  • Ideally experience both from recruitment agencies and inhouse recruitment in a company
  • Extensive experience working with vendor management and sourcing
  • Management of recruitment budgets and recruitment partners
  • Experience in using SuccessFactors as an applicant tracking system
