Project Manager -New product development

Do you want to be a part of the exciting journey to transform Endoscopy? If you are passionate about developing innovative solutions to improve healthcare and have a keen interest in driving cross-functional team, then you are the project manager we are looking for.
Global, user driven innovation-from idea to launch
As project manager you will lead a cross-functional team of highly skilled specialists to execute on new product development projects from early phase to regulatory approval and production ramp up.
You will be instrumental in bringing innovative endoscopy solutions to the market and you will use your critical thnking, technical insights and pragmatic approach to successfully deliver the right product within agreed time and budget.
Ambu’s endoscope solutions are changing the way endoscopy is performed and comprise endoscopes, display/processing unit, accessories etc… it is therefore essential to have a broad view and a strong system-thinking.
You will be a key player in the development of our new devices - from initial idea and throughout to implementation in one of production sites, launch to the market and subsequent follow-up.
We work according to an Ambu developed agile phase-gate model. Our work includes a high degree of user and customer involvement and a part of the job is therefore to meet the medical professionals at their locations in operating rooms, intensive care units or pre-hospital settings. One of your main tasks will be to establish a motivating and collaborative working environment in your global project team. You will have close collaboration with many stakeholders globally and especially with the assigned Project Sponsor Team (project governance body).
Experience with global project management in the medical device industry
It is key that you are able to use your solid business understanding to discuss market issues in detail, that you are able to contribute in technical discussions, and that you are confortable with compliance with international standards for medical device development.
As a person you are self-driven, committed, structured and have a strong sense of responsibility towards your work and your team members. You are open-minded, dynamic and you use your great interpersonal skills in your daily work to drive the projects and motivating the project team members.
Key competences
To succeed in this role, you have:
- Master degree in engineering or similar
- Experience within medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- 3-5 years Experience in projet management with proven track record of project delivery
- Full professional proficiency in English
