We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our exciting team in Digital, Data & IT Supply Chain at Novo Nordisk. Vendor Management is anchored within the Plan & Purchase product area. The role involves managing vendors and contracts to ensure timely delivery of IT services and third-party SAP integration projects, as well as cultivating positive working relationships and quality control. You will take responsibility for ensuring timely budget overview and tracking. Close collaboration with Product Managers and agile Delivery Leads is fundamental to maintain consistency across the IT delivery organization.
Responsibilities include: Vendor Management - strategically align IT service supplier engagements, manage contracts, and ensure the delivery of IT services and integrations meet our exacting standards. Budget Responsibility - recording and managing invoices for programs, including forecast and tracking finances accurately Outreach - maintaining productive and cordial relationships with vendors, encouraging two-way communication, and acting as an intermediary when necessary Risk management - monitoring deliveries and ensuring quality control and compliance Onboarding - obtaining authorizations, familiarizing vendors with processes and establishing strong vendor governance Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position should meet most of the following requirements: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in business, IT Procurement or another relevant field and ready to join the Plan & Purchase Agile Release Train (ART) Flexible attitude, proactive mindset and experience to drive complex contract negotiations and resolve any impediments with external vendors and suppliers Savvy in understanding financial data and running budgeting processes in a busy business environment Excellent communication skills (English) in speech and writing Experience driving strategic initiatives within an agile framework (e.g. SAFe) Pharmaceutical industry and supply chain experience will be an advantage About the area
