Eurofins Genomics has established itself as a leading laboratory for genomic tests for different segments of the industry, including Agrigenomics, Pharma and Direct-To-Consumer. We are now seeking an Assistant Project Manager within our Agrigenomics segment to help us expand and strengthen our position even more.
As Assistant Project Manager you will become part of our existing Agrigenomics team, located in Galten, Denmark, but with responsibility for projects from customers located all over the world.
As a part of your daily work you will develop project schedules and execution plans by connecting the operation to internal stakeholders, decision makers, R&D and customers. You will support the Leadership team by providing accurate communication on KPIs, forecasts and other relevant issues; and ensure projects are kept within the correct budget and timeline.
In this position you will play a major role in handling our customer’s projects from start to finish, including planning, logistics as well as managing information flow and process documentation between the customer, the lab and our sales team to align expectations between all partners.
Your Primary Assignments will be:
Kvalifikationer
To be a sufficient candidate for this position we expect you to have experience within the molecular and genetics field, at a Bachelor degree within Molecular Biology or life science. It is an advantage if you have 3+ years of experience within Project Management, ideally with a focus in the Life Science or Agricultural field.
To thrive in this position, you have strong interpersonal skills and you are a great communicator as this role will interface significantly with operations, sales and other internal groups. Additionally, as a person you are flexible, dynamic and structured, as daily assignments and priorities can change quickly during the work day. A solution-oriented approach is a must to face the challenges that may arise during the day.
In other words we expect you to be a team player and have a high focus on quality in your daily work, but still possess the ability to work under sharp deadlines.
Finally, you have experience with Excel and project management tools, and good oral and written English skills are important as much of the communication with customers will be in English.

Your Primary Assignments will be:
- To ensure that EFEG completes analyses and deliver data at a high standard
- To ensure correct and complete communication between both internal and external stakeholders, including operations, quality assurance, data management, leadership, suppliers and customers
- To collaborate with other Eurofins-Genomics divisions and our dedicated Sales Team to ensure projects are running smoothly, including logistics, sample handling, lab processing and data delivery
- To ensure a good collaboration with the customer and customer contacts and to build a positive and trustful foundation to further development of the business.
- Project planning and project management – from communication and establishing of new projects in our systems, to delivery of data to the customer and keeping track of relevant KPIs, budget and timelines
- Maintenance of and updating of our project management systems and databases
- Having dialog with the customer about expected sample deliveries and ensure that the correct number of reagents and arrays are in stock based on customer forecasts.
