The position
We're seeking a Project Manager to support strategic digital initiatives in our Programme Management Office by leading the digital transformation. You'll be responsible for developing the data and system landscape in Program Controls to ensure effective monitoring and control based on integrated processes and single sources of truth. As a Project Manager, you'll use product thinking to translate business strategy into value-driven product roadmaps and backlogs, balancing input from users, strategy, architects, and developers. You'll lead the project team, align, and facilitate workshops with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand business needs and ensure we focus on outcomes that make a difference to our stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will be to: Continuously develop and maintain digital tools, considering business value and ensuring that product discovery is continuous Define and drive operational roll-out, support, and communication to stakeholders across the globe Develop the digital product roadmap and proactively facilitate prioritization processes in collaboration with IT partners and software vendors Manage the project scope, economy, plan, and risk picture Collaborate closely with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) lead to realize business value, support the Discipline lead of Reporting & Systems in leading and driving the project portfolio and data landscape, and be a key team player in the team. You are expected to shape the digital solution to support the overall organization and use design thinking to identify how the organization and processes can be reshaped to better support the scalability and efficiency of developing digital products. This role offers a challenging opportunity to join an experienced team with a strong focus on personal development. The position requires occasional travel of around 30 days per year. Qualifications To be successful in this position, you need to have: Ideally, a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Design, IT, Engineering, or similar At least 3-5 years of experience in a Project Manager or similar role, working closely with the development of digital solutions and customers Passion for building and scaling digital products from problem discovery to realized benefits Positive, solution-oriented mindset with an interest in process optimization and IT system development. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Knowledge of agile methods is a plus! In addition to fluent written and spoken English, you should be comfortable communicating complex ideas and collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be an active listener, and be able to build positive relationships across teams and departments. You should have a holistic approach with a flair for distinguishing needs, recognizing priority business requirements, and an eye for simplification. About the department You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacities across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. Fill & Finish Expansions has a strong global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. Here you will be a part of the Project Controls area, which is a key function within the central Programme Management Office. It composed of more than 20+ highly skilled and experienced colleagues, that are currently structured into five discipline area – Schedule, Estimation and Cost, Risk, Document management, Reporting & Systems.
