You play a crucial role in the engineering team
As the Senior Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team who deliver the engineering solutions and capacities to a successful project execution of complex electrolysers and fueling stations projects in tight cooperation with internal and external stakeholders who form the project team led by the Project Manager.
You will drive the first process design, received from the R&D department, into detailed process design and engineering at the commercial projects, ensuring that the design matches the overall plant requirements and specifications.
Moreover, you will work with authorities to get approvals and ensure that the design fulfils the process and safety requirements.
Your tasks will include:
- Detailed process design from PFD to P&IDs
- Prepare descriptions, specifications, and tender material for sub suppliers
- Quantitative risk assessments of electrolyzer plants and hydrogen fueling stations
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA studies and other safety and risk related assessments
- Selection and cooperation with partners and suppliers
- Develop and maintain standard concepts for process equipment
- Optimizing processes
- Various design tasks within hydrogen installations and equipment
Reporting will be to the Engineering Manager and the place of work will be in Fredericia, Denmark where they are currently building the new Everfuel Tech facility. You should expect some travelling days. Who are you?
You have a relevant educational background most likely on an engineering level with a minimum of 5 years of experience from related jobs. Besides, you have experience with programs for design, construction of process equipment, and hazard studies.
It comes naturally to you to focus on details, and at the same time, you are highly productive and get things done. Furthermore, you are proficient in both written and spoken English. Moreover, we imagine that you have experience with:
- General design of process plants eg. Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams etc.
- PED and ATEX Directives, requirements and approvals
- Functional safety for process plant
- Mechanical, electrical, and process design

Everfuel supplies green hydrogen to larger car fleets such as buses, trucks and taxis and as a green solution for the industry. They are based at the Everfuel Farm in Høgild near Herning and in Fredericia, where they are building Europe's largest electrolysis plant to date and new attractive offices.
