The Position As one of our Senior Project Managers, you will manage cross-organizational projects (medium to high complexity) related to the establishment of complex production setups, both internally in Novo Nordisk and at external manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities include: Directly driving key strategic project planning and execution, which involves creating and developing project plans, as well as monitoring and controlling project work Assessing the foundations of the business case and challenging assumptions for informed decision-making; negotiating project resources with Line of Business management and effectively managing them throughout project execution Collaborating with the project owner to establish appropriate project governance, reporting project performance to stakeholders, and performing integrated change management, as well as with our Strategic Sourcing Unit and Development Centre (DMD) Archiving all critical project data and conducting a thorough evaluation upon project completion, sharing valuable lessons learned Ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk's Quality Management System and Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) Environmental, Health, and Safety Management systems Coordinating with other projects in Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS), actively supporting the implementation of standards and ways of working across DMS, while contributing to best practice project execution Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have: B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering or in a related field, along with training in Project Management and an International Certification in Project Management such as PMP certification Minimum 10 years of experience in the operational delivery of large-scale multinational projects (Capex Investments) associated with production and manufacturing Experience in production operations and associated equipment, outsourcing/establishment of production setups through external suppliers Knowledge of Injection Moulding Machines (IMM) and GMP within a production environment are considered as an advantage Fluency in both written and spoken English As a person, you possess a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and strong relationship-building skills. You excel in cross-functional and international collaboration, effectively coaching and engaging project team members. With a proactive and self-driven approach, you take ownership of tasks and initiate actions. Your communication skills enable you to convey complex matters to stakeholders with ease. You demonstrate solid analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. You confidently interact with senior management, persistently overcoming obstacles. Your capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize ensures a healthy work-life balance. With a business-driven focus, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, you are well-prepared to excel as a Senior Project Manager. About the department The Project Management Office is a department in DMS that aims to be the Centre of Excellence in Project Management. Our key focus includes not only the improvement of Project Management systems and processes but also the planning and execution of complex and strategic projects. You will be joining a team of 12.
