The position As the Project Director for our major expansion project in Kalundborg, Denmark, you will play a crucial role in delivering scope and solutions on time and within budget. Motivating and inspiring our engineering partners, contractors, employees, and peers is key to your success in this role. You will have the opportunity to unite a diverse group of stakeholders behind a joint plan and collaborate across several disciplines, including Facility, Utility, IT/Automation, Process, EHS, and Engineering Management. As a member of the Fermentation project's management team, you will be responsible for aligning with your peers on execution strategies. You can also look forward to: Overseeing the schedule, cost, risk, procurement, execution, and qualification of all scope elements of Fermentation Utility Managing the scope of the project, including decision-making on changes that may impact the schedule or cost Supporting the Project Vice President for Fermentation on leadership-related matters Defining and developing the project execution team while providing input to the later organization responsible for operations In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of the project and will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed effectively. Qualifications To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or project execution, as well as several years of people management experience. We imagine that a successful candidate will have: A master's degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field Work experience from CAPEX projects Extensive experience in leadership and a track record of building high-performance teams English proficiency, both verbal and written. Any knowledge of Danish would be an advantage. You have strong facilitation skills with the ability to set clear direction and priorities. You have a can-do attitude with high-quality standards and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. At a personal level, you should thrive in a close teamwork environment and enjoy working in a dynamic setting.
