We are looking for a leader of the new unit to be established: Change Management Centre of Excellence. Apply today for a life-changing career! The position The position we are looking to hire is the head of the new unit. A plan and outline for the new unit exits, and the new Head of the unit is to take ownership of this and establish the unit – including to hire the first 2-3 people of the unit during the first months onboard. The key responsibilities of this position will be, but not limited to:
  • Change Portfolio & Heatmap: Enable informed and actionable strategic leadership decisions driving change across the Development organisation
  • Resilience Management: Improve change adoption and resilience of our colleagues (across all levels in Development)
  • Change Leadership: Ensure our people leaders and selected change champions are equipped to drive change with theory, tools, processes and professional support
  • Change Networks: Establish (update) change networks across processes, systems, and LoB areas ensuring learnings and dialogue to lift champions and leaders
  • Change Management Execution: Define and ensure alignment across Dev change functions for change strategy, tools, processes, resources and in-/external best practices.
  • This position will be based in Søborg/Copenhagen. Qualifications The new head of Development Change Management Centre of Excellence is to some degree already considered a thought leader and spearhead within change management and see this as the future career path. For this position, you have:
  • Proven capabilities in defining and delivering an overall organisational change management strategy. Drive the portfolio and change management roadmap for digital initiatives. Ensure lasting outcome through lasting change at all levels in an organisation
  • Excellent experience in redefining and refining operating models, organisation mapping and reinvention, and change risk and readiness assessment as part of driving cross functional transformation
  • Experience with being an active sparring partner and facilitate change to ensure teams are enabled to drive the right change management activities
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience in engaging, motivating, and mentoring colleagues
  • Proven change management toolbox and exceptional communication skills aligned with all stakeholder levels
  • Ability to build and foster networks of change champions and agents across the organisation
  • Experience with a broad change management toolbox and with managing complex change management projects
  • Experience with leading a team of experienced change management specialists
  • Experience working within the pharma / life Science industry would be a plus but is not a requirement

You are curious, open minded and highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision. You have a global mindset and demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, as well as a strong understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people. About the department In Novo Nordisk, Development is responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide aiding Novo Nordisk in driving change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases through developing innovative and sustainable treatment solutions and making them accessible to patients worldwide. The rate of organisational change of the Development organisation is higher than ever before. Driven by new opportunities in new product and therapy areas, by digitalisation opportunities, by pressure the launch products faster and by much more. Islands of change management teams and people exist across the Development Organisation and in the individual projects The new unit to be established – the Development Change Management Centre of Excellence – will be the lighthouse and powerhouse to support all the planned and ongoing organisational change. Our area, Development Transformation and Insight, supports the Development organization and the end-to-end Development process in areas that cut across the organization – this concerns transformation efforts, but also creating insight on portfolio level, portfolio and project governance and decisions, project excellence and strategy.
