About the job
We have ambitious plans to grow our business. To support these aspirations, we are looking for a new Project Co-ordinator, who is passionate about supporting a range of commercial projects in close collaboration with project managers and stakeholders across the organisation. To succeed in this role, you’ll be highly organized and solutions focused, able to work to tight deadlines and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with project managers and providing support as needed
- Using project management principles/tools to oversee productivity
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Preparing progress reports for project managers
- Organizing, attending, participating in stakeholder meetings
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Directing employees as needed and answering questions about their expectations
- Managing project risks and alerting project manager of impending issues
Essential experience:
- You have a relevant technical or scientific education and preferably experience in a project coordinator or planner role.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
