Our team is responsible for controlling of and consolidating the financials from our subsidiaries across the world as well as preparing the external financial reporting of the Group. This includes IFRS compliance, M&A accounting, interaction with and support of our global Finance organization and coordination with the auditors globally
We are part of a Group Finance organization which also includes Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Process & Projects, Group Treasury and Group Tax. We also work closely with other key stakeholders, such as Investor Relations, Legal, M&A and Communication.

What tasks are waiting for you?

• Participating in monthly, quarterly and annual closing, consolidation and reporting processes for the Demant Group, and safeguard compliance with IFRS, DK GAAP and Group accounting guidelines.
• Being a sparring partner for colleagues inside and outside Finance in matters of accounting and financial compliance etc.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining the Group’s accounting policies and reporting guidelines.
• Drive projects from end-to-end with the purpose of continually improving our processes.
• Participate in development of our Financial Compliance setup, which includes an internal control framework and similar compliance matters.

It would be great if you:

• have a MSc in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar and a minimum of 3 years of experience from an international auditing business and/or from a financial controlling function in a NASDAQ/large/medium international company;
• have experience with consolidation principles, group controlling and reporting processes, as well as IFRS experience and solid accounting skills,
• have an experience with internal controls this is a plus,
• are a proactive user of IT systems and have experience with financial consolidation system and/or similar,
• have data-driven mindset with strong analytical and numerical skills and interest in automation and improvements of processes,
• have experience with auditing and/or from similar financial controlling positions,
• have good communication skills – both verbal and written English,
• enjoy working with stakeholders and with colleagues from various functions, organizational levels, and locations across the world,
• act with integrity and diligence in your work, and you appreciate working in an environment with highly competent colleagues,
• are structured, self-motivated and proactive by nature.
