We are looking for a Lead Auditor to our Compliance Monitoring team in SAS Maintenance Production
SAS Maintenance Production provides maintenance services to SAS aircraft fleet and other airlines. Line Maintenance is performed at Kastrup, Arlanda, Landvetter, Gardermoen, Trondheim, Ålborg, Bergen and Stavanger. SAS Maintenance Production is fully committed to SAS strategy and will always keep safety, quality and efficiency as top priorities and one of the vital parts to achieve this, is our Compliance Monitoring team where our Compliance Monitoring Engineers and Auditors plays a most valuable role.
Lead Auditor to Compliance Monitoring Department in SAS Maintenance Production
Are you passionate about safety and quality? Do you enjoy a dynamic workplace? Do you want to be part of a small dedicated team that contributes to SAS Maintenance Production by monitoring our quality system to ensure adherence and to visualize, if present, non-conformances to help the organization to ensure corrective actions? If so, we are now looking for a Lead Auditor. The object of Compliance Monitoring is to ensure conformity regarding Safety and Quality Systems, Internal processes, standards and requirements, Regulations and implementation and Authority Approvals/Certificates
The function reports to the Compliance Monitoring Manager and the workplace can be located at our maintenance facilities at Arlanda, Copenhagen or Oslo, but travelling between all our maintenance facilities will be required.
Main Tasks
- Responsible to conduct and handle internal audits and (sub) contractor audits as required within and outside Scandinavia.
- Conduct audits in a consistent and systematic manner.
- Collect information through effective interviewing, listening, observing and reviewing documentation and records.
- Document and handle audit results.
- Prepare accurate, clear and concise audit reports.
- Perform follow-up, verification of the actions to findings and effectiveness of corrective actions from audits.
- Assist in the establishment of the periodic audit schedule.
Experience & Qualifications
We believe the right candidate is a technical maintenance-oriented team player with experience as a Quality Control Engineer or internal auditor in SAS and hereby have gained a solid understanding of SAS´s maintenance processes and its success factors. Further the candidate should have experience relating to continuing airworthiness management and relating maintenance programs.
- A similar position being held and be well versed with European regulations, primarily regulation (EU) 1321/2014, having solid knowledge of Part-145 and Part -M areas and regulations
- Administrative and editorial understanding
- Solid knowledge of compliance monitoring/quality system related activities
- Good understanding of Safety Management System (SMS)
- Knowledge in LEAN.
- Experienced user in SAS data systems(MMIS)

Other of Importance
Since you will work on "airside" a couple of security/background checks and drug- and alcohol test is mandatory in the process before hiring.
