Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights that will help utilities optimize the production and distribution of clean water and energy.
Therefore, we are looking for a Team Lead for Regulatory Compliance who can take on a leading role to develop the regulatory product compliance area to support the future growth in the water business. Together with the rest of the Technical Product Management team you will ensure regulatory compliance of our products in all the countries we market our water solutions. You will have a close cooperation with all colleagues in the team, however in particular with the two current Compliance Managers, who work on tasks related to regulatory compliance in the areas of drinking water, metrology and product safety.
A job with focus on developing the product compliance area
In the newly establish position as Team Lead for Regulatory Compliance, you will be responsible for managing the overall product approval plan and prioritize which tasks related to type- and drinking water approvals in development projects and existing portfolio must be handled first, and therefore also utilize the available Compliance Manager resources in the best way possible. Related to the prioritizations you will have a broad network, as you will be handling many stakeholders in all of Kamstrup who all must be updated regularly on any changes in the overall plan, so that they can take action and plan their work and development projects accordingly. In addition, you will maintain and build new strong relationships with our external business partners within this field and over time you are expected to be able to represent Kamstrup in relevant standardization committees.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Ensure compliance capabilities to support the future growth in our water business
• Defining, managing and prioritizing the overall approval plan across development projects and the existing portfolio
• Ensure continuously follow-up with external business partners such as laboratories to track progress of ongoing approval tasks
• Close collaboration with other compliance representatives in Kamstrup to develop and improve compliance in general in Kamstrup
• Participating in relevant international organisations within the field of product approvals
• In collaboration with procurement ensure that our suppliers maintain underlying approvals which affects our product approvals
• Participating in regulatory compliance audits together with representatives from our Quality department
You can expect around 10-20 travel days per year.
Personality matters
In order to succeed in this position it is important that you have at least 5 years of experience from a similar role, where you have worked with product approvals and gained Team Lead experience. It is important that you have experience with product approval processes in general and understand the overall workflow and related tasks. You have a proven record within project management and have shown the ability to execute multiple compliance activities and certification projects in parallel. Therefore, you possess the ability to interpret, challenge and communicate regulatory demands to key stakeholders.
In regard to educational background we value experience with product approvals first. However since the job revolts around our water meter portfolio, it would be an additional strength if you have a bachelor’s degree within Mechanical or Electrical engineering but it is not a must.
As a person you are accommodating, hard-working and can proactively handle the daily challenges. As you will be handling many stakeholders across our business it is important that you thrive in an outgoing role and have strong communicative skills that enable you to build relations on all organisational levels. You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your tasks, where it comes naturally to you to work on the basis of deadlines.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish and German will an advantage.
