Become Team Lead in the PCBA Factory in Supply Chain

With direct reference to the PT Manager, PCBA, you will become a part of the management team in the PCBA Factory and lead a team of 14 employees. Your team consists of highly skilled technicians who collaborate and work across shifts covering day, evening, night, and weekend. The team is responsible for executing preventive maintenance, handling breakdowns, as well as offering technical support, with the main goal of ensuring the production is running smoothly, so Kamstrup can deliver high quality products on time. To achieve this, the Maintenance team works closely together with Production Managers, the Planning team, the PT department, and Quality department.
A job with focus on technical challenges in the production and team development
As Team Lead, you will be balancing daily support with planning preventive maintenance, manage breakdowns and leading your team. You are responsible for increasing the technical uptime of equipment in the factory to ensure a good delivery performance, and for making sure that the operators have the best possible conditions for delivering good results. Furthermore, your role will center around leading the team and it is your responsibility to secure personal and professional development as well as supporting wellbeing. You will also secure optimization of processes and operations through change management, while making sure that your team adopts new ways of working – a current project is to implement a new structure for handling spare parts.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
Personality matters
As Team Lead, you will have interfaces with a broad network of many different stakeholders. Therefore, you are a strong communicator, who easily communicates with all colleagues whether it is on the production floor or management. You are result-oriented and get energy when you see your initiatives paying off and thrive with solving the different challenges a production environment offers. You have a collaborative approach, and naturally encourage your team members to seek challenges and support their growth both professionally and personally. Furthermore, you lead by example, and you have a managerial style which reflects mutual trust, distributed responsibility and cooperation.
We imagine that you have a background as Marine Engineer or similar technical background, combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience from a similar position within production and maintenance. Furthermore, you have a track record of solving complex technical challenges and can foster positive transformation through change management.
It is a requirement that you master both written and spoken Danish and English.
