Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance.
- Collaborate closely with the chef team to understand the nuances of Indian cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
- Train and mentor front-of-house staff on Indian menu items, ingredients, and cultural aspects to provide exceptional service to our guests.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and increase customer satisfaction, including special promotions, events, and personalized service.
- Monitor inventory levels and food costs, optimizing procurement practices to maintain profitability while ensuring the availability of authentic Indian ingredients.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork, professionalism, and open communication among staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a proactive and professional manner, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements at all times.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for training and development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant through various channels, including social media, local events, and community partnerships.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a restaurant manager, preferably in an Indian cuisine-focused establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and basic accounting principles.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
