Your new role

As our new Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting for Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian companies in the EE group. You will be a part of an accounting team of three and coordinate tasks in cooperation with the Financial Controller. Externally, you will collaborate and interact with external accounting and tax advisors as well as local authorities.

As a person, you are thorough and structured. You have a background in accounting and solid experience within accounting in Lithuania. You have good interpersonal and communication skills and find yourself working well with internal stakeholders across departments and at all levels as well as external stakeholders. You moreover thrive working in an international environment with fast growth.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting for Lithuanian, Estonian, and Latvian companies in EE Group.
• Daily bookkeeping and bank payments.
• Financial reconciliation of accounts.
• Period End tasks.
• VAT, Tax, and other local filings.
• Cooperation with finance colleagues, auditors, and internal departments.
• Optimizations of tasks and processes.
• Supporting new company setup, including bank account setup and tax registrations.

Your Profile:

• You speak native Lithuanian and English fluently.
• + 5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance from a similar position.
• Profound skills in accounting.
• Good knowledge of financial compliance in Lithuania and possibly Estonia and Latvia.
• You have great analytical skills.
• Experienced Excel user and preferably experienced in Microsoft ERP systems (Navision Dynamics / BC a.o) and invoice workflow.
• Puts effort into delivering timely and accurate.

Salary Level Lithuania: 3800 - 4500 EUR gross per month depending on experience.
