GL Accountant

Recently merged, emagine and ProData Consult is one of the largest independent IT-consultancies in Europe. The Group is headquartered in Copenhagen, DK, with twenty offices in ten countries. We are expanding our Finance Team with an ambitious, business minded and motivated General Accountant based in our shared service center in Warsaw.

Your primary function will be to support the 2-person German accounting team but you will also secondarily support other countries.

You will have a wide range of responsibilities including:

• General accounting
• Cash reconciliation and treasury management
• Supplier invoice processing (partially automated)
• Expense report processing
• Contribute to process optimisation, automation and controls in a shared service center context

The right candidate for the job has a strong work ethic and ability to work within a team. You take pride in seeing the team deliver solid results thanks to everyone’s contribution. You are therefore a strong communicator and listener with a good understanding of processes because of your thorough and detail orientated mindset. It is important that you are flexible and know how to prioritize your tasks, because of the quick changes that can happen from time to time. You always finish what you start and you thrive in taking initiative and share your ideas and knowledge with your colleagues.

We prefer you to have:

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in an international context
• Excellent teamwork and communication (written and verbal)
• Excellent level of English plus good business German (French is a plus)
• Strong ERP skills (we work in Navision)
• Strong Excel skills
• High discipline and structure in working with data
• High sense of detail and overview
• Ability to learn, adapt and develop quickly

You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and other shared service center team members (Poland) as well as the German Finance and accounting team. The group finance team includes c.40 persons and the whole group consists of approx. 300 employees.
