Core Responsibilities
Acting as Senior Finance Business Analyst you will co-drive the financial agenda, mainly focusing on financial planning, reporting, automation and controlling. This includes:
- Preparing and driving monthly management reports and performance analysis, including drafting insightful commentary.
- Secure reporting is done based on consolidated P/L and Balance Sheet in Cotes Group.
- Drive the preparation of the annual budget.
- Drive the monthly forecasts process Including reconciling meetings with sales and production.
- Supporting the preparation of longer plans, including various business plans within products and production.
- Identifying risks and opportunities through detailed business performance analysis.
- Ad-hoc reporting to Cotes A/S Business Units.
- Provide financial insights on tactical investment and saving initiatives by building transparency in our Business Intelligence system.
- Secure accounting standards are held when reporting Cotes Group's P/L and Balance sheet.
- Lead Cotes Group's Business Intelligence Implementation.
- Driver of Cotes Group's Business Intelligence solution, Including developing and maintaining the BI solution.
- Examine data from internal or external accounts and use findings to help automizing our reporting.
- Act as key driver for Cotes Group's automation agenda in close cooperation with the Group Management Team.
- Support the Accounting team by developing accounting controls.
- Analyse overhead cost controlling and product cost controlling.
- Assisting on ad-hoc customer offers In the Business Units.
Required Skills and Experiences
- Relevant education in financial or management accounting
- Qualified Controller
- Ability to drive process change
- Ability to deliver credible analysis and insight into the results
- Expert in Excel
- Experience of building, or working with, financial models and large data sets
- Experience of driving and maintaining BI solution
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrable experience of being able to think commercially
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar function
