Area Sales ManagerSkilled hunter to build a new market with huge potential
Are you motivated by developing sales, and do you want the unique opportunity to build and shape a new market area within automation, which has a huge potential? As the new Area Sales Manager, you will get an exciting and pivotal role, as you will be responsible for establishing the sales of global AGV solutions in the Midwest. Job Responsibilities:
Primary job responsibility includes developing and establishing new business in the assigned territory.
Work to identify and map potential dealers to build and establish BILA’s presence.
Analyzing and mapping decision making processes to gain insight to relevant decisionmakers.
Communicating and committing the decision makers to the value drivers and strong business case documented on Global AGV’s
Educating the dealers to ensure that the sales of Global AGV are conducted properly.
Collaborate and take part in field visits with the dealers to foster successful partnerships that will generate referrals.
Initiate sales and marketing approaches in collaboration with the dealers and the G-AGV head quarter sales & marketing resources as well.
Work closely with the R&D department in ensuring dedicated onboarding and support to the AGV’s running at dealers and end-customer sites.
Continuous follow-up with dealers
To be a qualified candidate for the role, you have several years of sales experience, preferably from the automation industry, and you have a successful track record in developing contacts and start-up sales which has resulted in increased business. Furthermore, you are experienced in sales of capital goods preferably machine sales, and you are skilled in sales development. You have experience in utilizing CRM-systems as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, thus being able to interact enthusiastically, both in person and on the phone.
At a personal level, you are independent and driven to exceed the established targets as well as being motivated by creating results based off your sales performances. You are proactive and outgoing in your approach towards current and new dealers, and you can apply your proactivity in a business setting to support current dealers as well as initiating new sales. On top of that you have an in-dept and strong knowledge base of business acumen that gives you a natural ability to excel at creating strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
