For the new established Nordic Telemecanique Sensors team, we are looking for a passionated and skilled sales specialist to Finland. With commercial and technical support from the team, the main objective will be to grow the business within sensors and safety in Finland. The job:

As a Sensor Application Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the full potential at the OEM segment especially within areas such as mobile equipment, material handling, packaging, pumping, lifts and escalators and hoisting. As a member of the sensor team, you will work closely together with you Nordic colleagues in the sensor business

Your main responsibility will be creating new possibilities within the OEM segment with the strong portfolio within sensors and safety, extend the market shares at existing customers, and make sure keeping your customers satisfied. You will also be responsible to bring our newest technologies to the market.

Key responsibilities:

To take ownership of the business and manage the customers including:

  • Develop and grow the sensor and safety business in Finland within the OEM segment
  • Promote new offers and solutions to the OEM’s including new launches
  • Develop and strengthen customer satisfaction
  • Implement sales strategies and execute action plans to maximize sales
  • Furthermore, you will be a part of product trainings, promotional events and in providing technical product support.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in engineering e.g., automation, or another relevant education
  • Not necessarily have previous experience within sales, but the interest in doing so
  • Understands the client’s needs and good at understanding of stakeholder’s management in the sales process
  • Are used to work with CRM system
  • Are fluent in both English and Finnish
  • Believe that the best results come with a PDCA (plan-do-check-act) approach working in a structured way, and follow the plan you make in collaboration with the Northern cluster leader
  • Ready for some travelling activities
