Mediq is looking for a Sales Manager for the Hospital Solutions division, where you will lead a team of three healthcare experts across all healthcare regions of Denmark. As the Sales Manager, your role encompasses the complete sales process, from executing the sales strategy to safeguarding and expanding their market presence, ensuring the acquisition and preservation of market shares.

As Sales Manager your role involves bridging leadership with everyday tasks to optimize performance and reach Mediq’s goals within the Danish market. You will be creating and executing sales strategies for the Hospital Solutions business areas, aligned with the Sales Director. The products in focus are within the Surgical & OR specialties and Respiratory & Anesthesia /ICU.

The role includes tasks like forecasting, budgeting, market analysis, and customer needs assessment. It also includes maintaining segmentation and call plans, achieving sales excellence through territory management, training, and coaching, as well as planning and conducting sales meetings. The role extends to developing go-to-market plans, ensuring value proposition delivered for a great customer experience, and collaborating with various teams to optimize products and pricing strategies.

In the role as Sales Manager, you will ensure that the team possesses the necessary skills and capabilities to effectively address market requirements and satisfy customer expectations. Also, you will be consistently dedicated to refining sales and proposal processes in alignment with the company’s overarching strategy. Furthermore, you will be responsible for performance development initiatives and setting goals for the sales team, with a keen focus on their valuable contributions.

Commercial drive and strong leadership skills


To succeed in this role, you must have a strong commercial mindset and thrive on developing and executing commercial strategies to drive sales growth and develop businesses. You are able to navigate in a matrix organisation and act proactively. Your leadership style is characterized by being empathic and confidence-based, and you possess the ability to both challenge and be constructive in the dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.

Furthermore, we expect the following qualifications:

  • Solid experience from sales roles within the MedTech industry, including a proven track record of driving own customers and sales.

  • Solid Experience in public tender processes with regions and preferable connections to purchasing managers/staff in five regions of Denmark.
  • Experience in leading a high-performance sales team and sales coaching.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to drive and review business cases.
  • Structured, with strong project management and process optimization skills.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills.
  • High negotiation and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
