Our new KAM Sourcing

We are looking for a skilled key account manager for our commercial Sourcing team. In the role as KAM Sourcing, you will have a central role as part of the team.

The Sourcing team is responsible for establishing partnership agreements with new partners who offers experiences. Our partners encompass a diverse range of businesses within the experience industry (wellness, sports, beauty, Stay (hotels, B&B,…), gastronomy), both large and small, with whom our gift experiences can be used.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and negotiating with large brands and key account partners for our experience giftbox assortment. You will be responsible for obtaining, developing and maintaining the key account partnership agreements, and to follow up and expand the relationships and cooperation with existing key accounts.

You will be based at our office in Copenhagen, and you will report to our Partnership Director Northern Europe, who is based in Belgium but frequently in Denmark.

Some travelling, mainly in Denmark, is required as some meetings will take place outside Copenhagen.

Main responsibilities:

Commercial - Sourcing (70%):

  • Establish and follow up a selection of strategic prospects/key partners.
  • Identifying relevant key prospects and selecting the most efficient contact channels
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts
  • Approaching prospects directly (phone, emails, online, visits) explaining the benefits and conditions of the partnership integrating their offer in the gift boxes
  • Scheduling and conducting meetings presenting our partnership:

- Online: Remote explanation of opportunities. Preparation of reports.

- Physical: targeted presentation with participation of decision makers at potential partners (hotels, restaurants, headquarters etc.)

  • Negotiate contracts ensuring that established profitability criteria are met
  • Supervision of the general category of gift boxes in Denmark
  • Participation/attendance at professional events such as fairs

Reporting and administration (30%) :

  • Create and update the database of information collected during prospecting (general management, sales, financial, and marketing contacts) in our CRM Salesforce.
  • Provide weekly activity reports to your management
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Gather the necessary information for contract signing
  • Collaborate with our internal departments (the sourcing team, partner relations, marketing, IT, operations)

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for this in you:

Professional competencies and experience:

  • Master's degree (business and/or marketing orientation)
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales preferably in tourism, hospitality and leisure industry (prospecting and/or key account management)
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a create, commercial mindset
  • Fluent in both Danish and of English
  • Preferably you have a network within the relevant industries
  • Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems
  • Experience with working with business contracts

Personal competencies:

  • Passionate about sales with excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of communication (general management, marketing, sales management, managers, teams, etc.).
