Product Management is responsible for ensuring the commercial maturity and readiness across new portfolio solutions and in-market products growing them towards market release. Key is to have a close dialog with markets to gain commercial input. Sparring with markets and sales companies and deciding release scopes from a clear business mindset is fundamental to achieving the highest level of competitive strength and business outcomes.

To fulfill our growth ambitions, we are looking for new colleague with the following profile:

Accountabilities

In this very exiting position, you will be accountable for the following deliverables:

  • Accountable for planning and executing products for our Key Accounts. To achieve this, you will lead a cross functional Program Management Team.
  • Identify high level business opportunities, specific customer needs, pains and commercial requirements and feed back to Portfolio planning and Solution planning.
  • Engage in business prioritizations of feature backlog, product pipeline and roadmaps as Business Owner (SAFe) using the Weighted Shortest Job First approach.
  • Advocate market needs and be the voice of the customers / Key Accounts in relation to frontloading activities, commercial priorities, and release planning.
  • Build a close relationship with our Key Accounts to understand their strategic direction and business priorities, and at all times have the overview of the product roadmap for our Strategic Accounts.

Be the primary anchor point for new market needs and commercial interactions for products and services with markets and customers, including key accounts, tenders, private label.

Main tasks
The Product and Program Manager, Key Accounts is responsible for the following tasks.

  • Lead the Program Management Team (PMT) as well as the relevant SAFe Epic owners and SAFe agile release trains to ensure all components in planned release scope are optimized for commercial offering and profitability from the creation to launch.
  • Commercial product planning and prioritizations and go-to-market coordination with Brands, strategic account and private label markets converting this into priorities on development as a SAFe Business Owner.
  • Planning of specific release scope with markets and internal commercial stakeholders. Define selling propositions and commercial strongholds within relevant customer/user journeys.
  • Define the commercial aspirations for selected new product-solution releases and associated business case KPI’s.
  • Safeguard the commercial needs and business rationales for solutions throughout program development and execution.
  • Keep close dialogue with markets to gain commercial insights & learnings both pre & post launch, and ensure learnings are funneled to appropriate teams.
  • Manage business cases and sales forecasts. Own, drive and adjust end to end business cases including following up on business case fulfilment and KPI’s after launch.
  • Manage scope change and requests with relevant SAFe Epic owners and agile release trains, securing the optimal value propositions and a sustainable business case.


Skills
The Product and Program Manager, Key Accounts position requires the following skills.

  • In-depth fundamental project and product management knowledge and experience
  • Solid business understanding and strong capabilities in working with outside-in focus (users, customers, competition, supply chain/distribution model and partners, market channels)
  • Experience working with user journeys and respective value propositions.
  • Good strategic skills and tactical planning mindset
  • Strong knowledge of stakeholder management practices, strong communicator and presenter, understanding of opportunity cost principles
  • Analytical skills, high abstraction capability and having big picture perspectives.
  • Experience working with agile techniques and framework and an interest to move further in this direction including acquiring relevant SAFe certification as part of this role.

Required Experience and Education
The following experiences are expected:

  • Experience and understanding of healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of five years product management experience, with commercial responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management or related field; Masters preferred
