TEMcompany is a start-up company with cutting edge technology which started years back in the HydroGeophysics Group at Aarhus University with a dream to build next generation imaging solutions for solving today’s water problems.

We are seeking a CSO to join the team at TEMcompany. The company was legally formed in early 2020, with location in Aarhus, Denmark. New state-of-the-art technology and products are ready for the market and the current team of almost 20 employees are in search of a dynamic CSO who can assist in making this a success.

We are looking for a profile who enjoy a technology driven environment and whom together with the Board of Directors and the CEO will set the direction and drive the company’s go-to market strategy. You must be eager to be part of a dynamic start-up company where we are still learning as we fly, but you also have to demonstrate care and insights in organizational matters as well as process management.

We seek a CSO with the following qualifications:

  • Strong sales and marketing experience from B2B as well as distribution sales in a global context
  • Demonstrate ability to understand customers and served market needs, hereunder to build full value chain insights and how TEMcompany’s functions should best serve such needs.
  • Demonstrates strong skills in networking and customer relation management.
  • Support and guide salespeople and specialists in the sales process.
  • Ensure continuous representation of TEMcompany’s vision and DNA in communication.
  • Capable of managing short- and long-term targets and manage risk taking.
  • You must be used to and enjoy being on the road.

You have the following skills:

  • You are a quick learner and you like to understand advanced technology
  • You value other people's perspectives and are good at listening to and understanding different points of view.
  • You show patience, choose your battles carefully and have a strategic approach to your task solving.
  • You communicate and write in fluent and professionally English and Danish. If you master other languages, it is most welcome.
  • You have a significant presence and create visibility and commitment in the organization.

Short to medium targets will be to:

  • Align with the company’s technology/products and together with the Board of Directors and the CEO refine the go-to market strategy and turn that into tactical sales and marketing actions.
  • In defined key market segments & geographical market areas focus on activity implementation and start seeing $-targets to materialize. Carefully monitor approach and success rate and adjust when and where needed.
  • Together with the marketing team position TEMcompany with the right value proposition and create the marketing mix of promotion and documentation.
  • Assist and take lead where necessary to build internal procedures to ensure a smooth customer service experience.
  • Start building a professional sales function with a focus on external sales but equally to build internal sales support.
