We offer:

We are looking for a Safety & Resilience Assurance Partner who will ensure safe, secure, and reliable workplace and operations of APMM assets (warehouse, Depot, Terminals, etc.) under APMM operational control including 3rd parties with respect to S&R standards/requirements and performance. Assurance and Audit work is critical for identifying and addressing our high-risk areas/assets and enabling us to make fact-based decisions at the right time.

Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure all regional and allocated Sites/Asset Inspection/Audits are carried out as per Maersk S&R Standards and local requirements and legal compliance. This includes Site condition Surveys; Pre-Lease/Purchase Survey; Verification of Critical Control; Emergency Response & Preparedness Survey; Risk-based surveys – detailed inspections on specific elements of high-risk sites and other risk categories as needed.
  • Assess and verify implementation of S&R Management framework and/or appropriate/equivalent Safety Management System
  • Evaluate the S&R performance of sites and provide information required for supporting S&R and Area Management towards safe and secure workplace
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the S&R processes through an effective audit and assurance process
  • Assess the compliance status of sites and business activities to S&R legislation and build action plans for closure of gaps
  • Assess the progress of sites to achieve their S&R Objectives and support the action plans
  • Assess and verify, incidents have been reported to governmental authorities in accordance with the applicable legislation
  • Assess and conduct verification of Critical Controls
  • Review and Facilitate S&R Training and Awareness sessions as part of our S&R cultural journey.
  • Assess and support initiatives towards cultural transformation across the area / functionalities including S&R Projects.
  • Promote an open, no-blame, just culture as guided by our Core Values through the audit process
  • Maintain lines of communication as per reporting lines

We are looking for:


  • Prior HSSE and/or Auditor experience
  • Certification in Occupational Health & Safety or Security is a preference.
  • Strong passion for keeping our people safe and a desire to ensure that; ‘Maersk is a healthy, safe and secure place to work’
  • Understanding the nature of logistics business and how it impacts the Organization’s ability to manage S&R risks
  • Good English communication skills both written and spoken. And specifically for report writing
  • A self-starter, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong facilitation Skills and ability to influence
  • Comfortable with digital tools (e.g Excel, Power point, etc) and Business intelligence tools
  • Available to travel 60-70%
