We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the MLOps team. You will be joining a department that has already made a great impact by delivering both Data and ML solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop the capabilities and solutions required to assist our stakeholders in taking ML projects from POC to operation. while also offer technical leadership, mentorship, and ensure alignment on deliveries towards the teams we collaborate with.
• Develop scalable and maintainable software solutions to facilitate MLOps best practices. • Mature and promote mature team engineering practices to create scalable, robust, and high-impact MLOps components and solutions.
• Cultivate a positive and productive work environment in collaboration with your colleagues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication between the team and other departments. • Present results and findings to stakeholders and make recommendations for future projects.
• Serve as technological backbone across Novo Nordisk and function as a cross organizational subject matter expert on productionising ML solutions. • Stay up to date with the latest machine learning technologies and trends.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with deep software development experience, with a track record of driving AI/ML powered solutions into production, with the following qualifications:
• MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• 3+ years’ professional experience as a ML or SW engineer
• Track record of building and operating scalable ML powered solutions
• Experience using/operating MLOps tools such as MLflow/Kubeflow/SageMaker
• Understanding of Deep Learning for various modalities (vision, NLP, graph, LLMs)
• Strong programming skills in Python and experienced in managing the software lifecycle (i.e CI/CD, Version Control, Test automation)
• Strong experience with cloud architecture, ideally in AWS
• Team player who is structured, proactive and independent.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
About the department
We are a team of data scientists, analysts, machine learning engineers and developers, partnering across the organization to deliver impactful end to end data products, analytics and ML solutions spanning from Research, to Commercial and Production. We want to industrialize and democratize the way we do AI, reducing the lead time from PoC to Production with scalable data platforms, MLOps, reference architectures and modularized components that span across the whole data and ML lifecycle. We are cloud native and work primarily in AWS. We work agile, embrace continuous learning and a culture of feedback and honesty, and we don’t forget to have fun together.
Our group is part of the larger area of BI, Data Management and Analytics, where we get to work closely with our AWS data lake, data marketplace and data science platforms, having cross-functional power to quickly design and implement scalable solutions as well as take care of operations. We are a multinational and diverse group in four different locations in USA, India, Poland and Denmark working in a set of scrum teams, committed to organize and deliver around agile values.
