For the IT Operations & Infrastructure division SDC is looking for a talented Azure Architect to help manage and modernize our Cloud environment.
SDC is currently investing in several different IT-infrastructure related changes with the purpose of improving stability, performance, security, and flexibility while reducing costs due to consolidations, usage of cloud technologies, and decommissioning of legacy components.
We are in the process of changing our Management and Operation supplier on the Cloud platform, so this is a great opportunity to be a part of a new setup and have an important role in the design
The right person will join a team responsible for maintaining and modernizing the Azure environments used in SDC. Regarding the IT Infrastructure in general the role will include a combination of hands-on tasks and design/architectural tasks as large parts of the SDC Infrastructure has been outsourced to third party vendors who make operation according to SDC specifications.
After a short introductory phase, the Architect will become part of the Infrastructure Services Department and thus become involved in the ongoing design and evolvement of the Azure & Cloud platform within the above-mentioned areas together with other Polish and Danish colleagues.
The Architect will join a strong team of resources where Danish and Polish employees collaborate closely to minimize the barriers caused by the distance. Thus, the Architect is expected to work very closely with colleagues from Denmark and Poland. Occasional travel may occur.

Versatile IT Infrastructure Azure Architect
You have an IT infrastructure background and experience from similar roles. The long “wish-list” (it is Christmas soon) could look like this:
- Direct experience of a range services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, Storage, Networking and Azure Security.
- Direct experience of enterprise infrastructure solution shaping and Azure infrastructure architecture development including excellent documentation skills.
- Experience in hybrid infrastructure Architecture as well as multi-customer Azure AD solution Architecture
- Possession of Architecting Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service (PaaS) products such as Azure Lighthouse, Sentinel, Log Analytics and other Serverless services
- Understanding of Azure Identity and Access Management including Azure AD
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Git, ARM templates and deployment automation.
