Georg Jensen is looking for a Data & BI Manager for the Data & Analytics team in Global IT. The position is based at HQ in Frederiksberg, close to Metro, bus, and the Frederiksberg Gardens.
Georg Jensen has a leading market position in the high-end Jewellery and Silverware market and premium Home Product market with distribution to the best retailers in the market. We strive to protect our strong brand position to ensure our customers continue to be inspired by Georg Jensen products.
The role
We are looking for a Data & BI Manager to be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that support the strategic objectives in Georg Jensen. This position will collaborate with various of stakeholders and markets globally to define and execute the company's data and analytics strategy, as well as manage the data- and master data strategy, the role will report to the Global IT Director. We have already migrated our data warehouse to Microsoft Azure services and have a good foundation, but we need to take it to the next level, so we ensure the right business benefits globally.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Georg Jensen’s Business Intelligence solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to define and execute the company's data-, analytics- and master data strategy.
- Ensure data is accurate, complete, and timely.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data catalogue.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to develop data models and BI solutions.
- Ensure that our BI solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable.
- Develop and manage budgets for BI initiatives.
- Manage the team and the external BI supplier (vendor mgmt.)
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of business intelligence initiatives.
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence.
- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience developing and executing IT data strategies.
- Experience developing and implementing master data & Governance strategies.
- Experience developing and implementing Power BI governance policies and procedures.
- Experience working in an international context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in managing a lean data team
