We are looking for a software engineer ready to share and grow
The position is located in Herning, so you must live within driving distance to Herning.
You will report to Development Manager Ole Rosenkvist in team Assets & Mortgages.
We are an expert team responsible for several important back-office banking systems regarding “credit risk management”. E.g., we help the banks assessment of the assets, which is very important regarding lending, impairments and reporting to authorities. This means we have dialogue with several other BEC teams, banks, and other external business partners. For the time being the team is also working with the new regulations regarding: ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as software engineer, you will work closely with the other developers and the business analysts in the team, who will also help you with the business knowledge regarding banking. One of our next big tasks is to move data to a new decentralized platform while keeping focus on our Operation and Maintenance on our Mainframe.

Preferably, you have an educational background in computer science, and you already know something about databases and different code languages – and you like to work with complex tasks as a combination of IT and mathematic.

- (Both new programs and troubleshooting existing programs after incidents from our customers)
- Analyzing tasks together with our business analysts
- Be part of securing high test quality
- Ensuring that all solutions are well documented
- Helping the team taking responsibility for our systems
