Lead Software Developer for Software Solutions - Gubra

We are accelerating our digital journey and are therefore seeking a Lead Software Developer to lead our exciting internal and external technology initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of passionate developers in the creation of customized, interactive web applications and powerful APIs (with no personnel management responsibilities).
- Drive the development, maintenance, and support of software solutions, playing a pivotal role in Gubra's digitization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address unique challenges in data analysis, management, and day-to-day operations.
- Working in an Agile-Scrum environment to ensure efficient project management and delivery.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in software development.
- Proficient in working with a Linux environment, Scrum, and source control management tools such as Git.
- Expertise in web application development using Python or R shiny
- Strong familiarity with interacting with databases using R-DBI, SQLAlchemy, or equivalent.
- A passion for software development that includes a willingness to share knowledge and mentor others.
- Experience working in biotechnology industry is a great asset!
