Senior Backend Developer – Copenhagen

The position and why we need you
At Banking Circle we want to make an impact that pioneers the industry and creates instant value for our clients. To support that we are looking to hire more talented stars who wants to join a team of highly skilled and dedicated developers focusing on delivering our new netbank solution. As a part of this cross-functional agile team you will both participate in building a high-end product from scratch, by using the newest technologies, work on a high-volume payment system that supports large financial corporations and be involved in the development of APIs and backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of APIs and back-end solutions
- Automation of deployment pipelines and Azure resources
- 3rd level support of the functionality that you have developed.
- Technical refactoring to ensure code performance and maintainability
- Supporting our strategic move to the public cloud
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from a similar role where you have gained 5+ years of experience within C#, .NET,.NETCore, Web API and REST. You have previously worked with API level authentication and authorization using role-based access, OAUTH2/OpenID Connect, and other techniques. You are experienced working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, and you are familiar with alternative storage solutions like Blob Storage, File Storage etc. We imagine that you are used to work in an agile setting and have experience with Azure, building and running large enterprise systems and implementing enterprise security. Testing your own code is important for you and you have a diligent approach to unit and integration testing, not only focusing on code coverage percentages but also writing tests that exercise the right part of your code.
You have an educational background within computer science, engineering or another applicable field (BSc level as a minimum). As a person you are pro-active, responsible and quality oriented. You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working and courage to try new things. We furthermore expect you to be a dependable and knowledge-sharing team-player that cooperates well at all levels of an organization. As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. The position will be based at Banking Circles office in Copenhagen.
