To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a Scrum Master, who can reinforce and support our agile journey in our Payments Engineering department. You will report to one of our Engineering Team Leads and be a part of our growing Payment Execution-team, consisting of 20 dedicated Developers, QA Engineers, and a Product Owner, who supports our crucial payments integration platform. We favour lightweight processes, and we do not use the SAFE framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the facilitating role, that will keep the machinery running smoothly, and facilitate Scrum activities.
- Manage the supporting role, including being hands-on with team assignments, with an understanding of what needs to be created, from a business point of view
- Assisting in continuously optimizing our Development Process
- Creating the best foundation for our Engineers to work in, in addition to our usage of Azure DevOps and Confluence
- Supporting the team in identifying potential risks and impediments, and clearly communicating them to stakeholders
- Create transparency in the process and productivity by using tools and metrics
- Identify and remove unnecessary processes and focus on maintaining high-value and lightweight processes.
Skills & Qualifications
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have technical experience (either as a developer or technical QA). Previous experience as a Scrum Master is not mandatory, and we encourage applications from candidates who are eager to try out a hands-on Scrum Master role in an agile organization.
You have strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate, coach and balance processes and deliveries. You have a great understanding of the agile mindset.
As a person, you are a strong and proactive communicator with a proactive and enthusiastic mindset. You are great at asking questions and are constantly iterating. You are also an avid subscriber to servant leadership, and you have an infectious, positive attitude.
As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.
The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Office in Copenhagen.
