We are looking for a Software Architect for our Audio Team!3Shape Audio provides market-leading 3D scanning and software solutions that enable digital production workflow of custom audio products as hearing aids, noise protection and earphones. Learn more about us here: www.3Shape.com/audioYou now have the opportunity to join a highly skilled and motivated international team, where we are developing the next generation of service-oriented CAD/CAM Audio Solutions.As a Software Architect, you will work with a team of 15 people in total of software developers and data engineers.Your responsibilities
  • Investigate: Look into existing and new technologies, working closely with developers, product and project managers. Prototype a technical solution to learn and reduce risk.
  • Build: Gradually handover your findings to developers, support the team with design and code reviews and iterate on the architecture when needed. You should also code yourself.
  • Improve: Mentor developers and help drive improvements of tools and development processes to improve quality and flow. Occasionally, also join temporary, cross-organizational task forces to tackle complex problems or opportunities.
  • Transform: Help to keep technical debt in check and define a technology roadmap paving the way to latest cloud technologies.
  • Align: Collaborate with stakeholders both inside and outside the team. You will also work with 3Shape’s Software Architecture group which aligns on company-wide architecture and runs occasional workshops and tech talks.
  • Our tech and tool stack is Primarily C# (.NET6/Core), but also C++ and python. Github, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Git, Jira, Github Actions, Visual Studio and other tools.
    • A successful candidate demonstrates most of the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Software Architect or Lead Developer
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, IT or similar
  • Excited about cross-site work: Your team is located in Copenhagen and Kyiv
  • Pragmatic, sees the big picture, ready to take ownership
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English
  • .NET (6/Core), ASP.NET (Core)
  • Understanding of service architecture
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Working with and designing RESTful APIs
  • Agile practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration and Kanban.
  • SQL databases using Entity Framework (Core)
    • Experience with one or more of these is a plus:
  • Infrastructure as code
  • Domain Driven Design
  • Event and Message Driven Architectures
  • CosmosDB
  • Caching
  • OpenAPI
