As our new Solution Architect you will be working with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, delivery managers and product owners to help define the business requirements needed for creating the solution architecture. Based on business requirements, enterprise architecture principles and sparring with solution architects and engineers, you will create artifacts needed for communicating and facilitating the dialogs enabling engineers to make the solution design and implementation plans based on the solution architecture created.
Your role will be to ensure that the major initiatives transforming the business of Milestones is supported by coherent and consistent set of solution architectures that will:
  • Increase the agility for future changes.
  • Allow for parallel development to a high degree thus making it possible for Milestone to grow the number of people working on the system landscape in an effective manner.
  • Ensure efficient implementation that provides scalable performance and load.
  • Ensure that solutions have security built into the basic design.

    In other words, support our journey of getting to an enterprise architecture with increased business flexibility by decoupling systems, faster time-to-market and coherent processes across systems.
    In the first period of the job some of your tasks will be enabling Partner Experience for Partner Relation Management, customer Identify Access Management and packaged Business Capabilities for Products, Pricing, Partners etc.
    Your Profile
    We hope you will bring previous experience working with solution architectures across infrastructure, integrations, data warehouse and business systems with an API based architecture, that support business processes across multiple business systems. Furthermore, we hope also hope you see yourself in most of below:

  • Experience transforming processes and business rules to solution architectures that both achieve the business target and result in solutions that are scalable (in terms of both technology and the number of people) extensible and performs well.
  • You must be curious on how to use standard services/PaaS/SaaS/Cloud platforms to define the underlying technology architectures supporting the solution architecture.
  • Experience with use of managed services in Azure as part of the solution architectures.
  • Being a great facilitator, that creates the needed artifact for the solution architecture and is able to establish ownership of the solution architecture in the teams that are designing and implementing the solution.
  • Ensuring the transition of responsibility for the solution architecture to make sure that it is maintained and remain useful in the future.
