We continue to grow and therefore we are currently looking for a passionate and talented Software Developer to join our Radar Software department in Lystrup. Radar Software is a part of Terma’s TEC department (Technology & Innovation) currently counting more than 20 employees in total.
As our new colleague, you will become part of a team of highly qualified Developers and Systems Engineers who strive to further develop current solutions as well as creating new and improved products within the radar domain. Our radar systems are widely used for coastal surveillance, airports, wind farms, naval vessels and much more
You will be part of a team that does both low-level programming such as Linux drivers, as well as high-level development in primarily Java and C++. Some interesting areas that we work on are Edge computing, AI, Cyber Security and integrating hardware and software.

In close collaboration with the team, you will develop new or improved functionalities to our platforms.

Desired skills and experience
You have a relevant education, i.e., a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines.
As a Software Developer in the Radar domain, you must possess the skills and knowledge to create robust, scalable, elegant, and flexible solutions. You communicate actively and demonstrate technical leadership and collaboration.
More specifically, we are looking for a colleague with a few years of professional developer experience within Java and perhaps C++. You also have a broad knowledge of various software methodologies and tools. It is a plus if you have experience with some of the technologies we use, such as Python, Linux, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, writing automated tests, and so on.

Your role & key responsibilities

- Software development focusing on solid software practices
- Take part in modernizing and improving our successful software platform
- Ensure good (automated) test coverage
- Developing and contributing to all areas of our Radar products
- Outlining of the software solutions through clarification of requirements and by conducting task refinement in close collaboration with your colleagues in an agile environment
