With direct reference to our Head of Software Development, you will either be part of an international department across Denmark, Spain, and Ukraine or a department located in Denmark. In the management team, we strive to have a high degree of collaboration and we value mutual commitment. There is a strong focus on creating a good foundation for people development opportunities and we believe that good results are created in collaboration with skilled colleagues. A job with a focus on management and people
In the position as Team Manager, you will be managing approximately 10 people and will be responsible for creating a great work environment where people succeed in developing both technical and personal capabilities. You will work closely together with the other Team Managers and the department's partners to ensure constructive dialogues between Project Managers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders, that enable the team to achieve its goals.
More specifically, you will be:
• Making sure your team members are motivated and help them grow their personal and technical capabilities
• Creating purpose and job satisfaction
• Using your technical understanding to support the team in creating high-value products
• Responsible for daily management, e.g., employee development dialogues, 1:1, recruitment, salary reviews, etc.
• Developing and executing strategy tasks that develops team, improves quality and make work more effective
• Enforcing and Improving IT craftmanship.
Personality is important to us
To be successful in the role, it is important that you have previous experience in managing software developers and testers from a managerial, project lead, architect, or a similar relevant role. You have experience with agile development principles, maybe even experience as Scrum Master. It is expected that you have at least a bachelor's degree in software development and a diploma in management is considered an advantage. You have a strong software background and are familiar with C#, .NET Core, SQL, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD.
As a person, you are approachable, ambitious, and used to working proactively with everyday challenges. As you will have contact with many different stakeholders across the organization, it is important that you thrive in an outgoing role and have strong communication skills.
Fluency is required in both written and spoken Danish and English.
