With reference to the Team Manager of Electricity Systems, you will become part of our Electricity Systems department. Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights, that will enable utilities to optimize the production and distribution of electricity - one solution at a time. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who wants to help us improve our technology stack and drive the transition to more efficient and modern solutions. You will be part of a team of highly skilled and motivated developers, interns, architects, testers, and product owners, who value constructive collaboration, outcome focus, and mutual respect as well as tolerance for each other’s professional capabilities, input, and differences. Furthermore, we work accordingly to the Scrum and Agile methodology.

In the position as Senior Software Developer, you will focus on defining and driving new features in our software solutions, taking an active part in the full process from development and deployment, to support and maintenance. As a Senior Software Developer, you are expected to set a high standard for delivering quality software solutions, based on C# and .Net by implementing best practices in high-performing quality software whilst acting as an example that inspires future colleagues to follow.

We are looking for a committed Senior Software Developer with a solid technical understanding of software solutions, and a strong proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL Server, and other related technologies. We imagine that you have a relevant educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar combined with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
As a person, you are a self-motivated and committed individual. You are not necessarily process-oriented by nature but know how to optimize processes that others follow. You know how to balance your time between driving the implementation of new technologies that can benefit our products and services and ensuring the daily software advancement. Further, you excel at facilitating effective collaboration through agile ways of working and by targeting your communication according to the situation, whether it is on a high technical level or targeted at the business. You would describe yourself as curious about new trends and easily translate your insights into achievable solutions.
