With direct reference to our Team Manager, you will become a part of our functional area Technology and join our technology epicenter consisting of 170 skilled software professionals. More precisely, you will become the extension of a devoted DevOps team of 3, who promote collaboration towards the deployment and operation. All with the ambition of streamlining the flow between the teams and thereby being able to adapt faster to development changes, as well as securing a consistent and smooth deployment by releasing the developers’ time and energy to focus on creating innovative solutions.
A job with focus on collaboration, automation, and technical responsibility
As a DevOps Engineer your responsibilities start when the Software Developers merge their code, and you will play a key role in automating the entire process from build to release, as well as in our journey towards a more containerized deployment and orchestration. Furthermore, you will work closely with colleagues in our platform and operations teams and secure a successful handover of new software going into production. With the software running on our Kubernetes cluster, you will be a valued sparring partner for troubleshooting and solving incidents related to the entire tooling chain.

Personality matters
We are looking for a committed and motivated professional, who is passionate about the DevOps approach. You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, and we expect that you have a proven track record from DevOps and have worked for at least 1 year within the field. It is considered an advantage if you have a background in software development. Furthermore, you have strong competencies working with Docker and Kubernetes and want to take the lead in this area.
As a person, you are excellent at creating relations across the organization and you naturally promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. You strive to continuously improve your skills and push high quality throughout your tasks. You have an analytical and data driven approach and enjoy solving complex tasks. Furthermore, you get energy from working in a dynamic setup where priorities may change, and you have the ability to keep an overview of multiple ongoing tasks. It is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written.

- Supporting CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab
- Being responsible for the test environments and monitoring of these
- Utilizing infrastructure as code through Terraform
- Moving us towards a more containerized approach with Docker and Kubernetes
- Assist in troubleshooting incidents related to the production environments
