The opportunity to drive and realize our ambition of being the best procurement function in the global pharma industry. Corporate Procurement is anchored with the CFO of Novo Nordisk. About the function Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement Consists of 150 employees based in Denmark and India - globally 500 people work in procurement. The position In this job you will be responsible for the overall sourcing program for the IT infrastructure- and consulting team. You will be part of the management team of the area, and you will manage a team with 5-10 direct and indirect employees of category managers and analysts on their respective global sourcing projects. You manage stakeholder relations effectively and drive business development. Further, you can identify and communicate key messages to various target groups - using constructive dialogues, key professional insights, and thoughtful recommendations with organizational and management perspectives in mind. Key success criteria will be your ability to: Effectively drive the Novo Nordisk procurementagenda and to interact with multiple senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk ensuring to make values-based decisions in line with the Novo Nordisk values Interact with senior leadership for many of our large engagements, to be the trusted advisor for our global suppliers. Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals. Work fact-based with quantitative data. Uphold high professional standards in deliverables, and a solid business understanding will be crucial for your success. You have a natural flair for leadership, people development with focus on employee engagement. Qualifications You have completed a master’s degree (e.g. in economics, business administration,engineering, supply chain management). You have minimum 8+ years of experience (including leadership experience) from working with procurement in a leading organization or a top tier consultancy. You take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for you and your colleagues. You have an international mind-set and communicate clearly and concisely - comfortable in giving presentations to senior management. Finally, you work fluently in English. Millions rely on us
