Do you want to play a significant role in ensuring a robust procurement setup for a manufacturing site with both marketed and clinical production? Then you might be our new Procurement Professional. About the department
You will be part of Injectable Finished Products, Bagsværd (IFP BA), which is an aseptic filling factory with approx. 800 employees producing marketed insulin and obesity products for patients around the world. Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement is a team of 12 colleagues anchored in business support. The team manages all operational planning, finance and procurement partnering at the site.
We are responsible for maintaining and developing the sites’ procurement process. You will get to work with many stakeholders across Novo Nordisk supporting procurement, including but not limited to sourcing, contracting and supplier management. For clinical products we work closely with process support and manufacturing development to identify new vendors and establish contracts for new process aids and other materials needed to establish new manufacturing processes.
You will join a diverse and high-performing team with unique experience levels. We have an informal working environment, where we work together and support each other, but most important we have fun and value a good sense of humour.
About the Position
The responsibilities in this role are:
• Guiding Line of Business (LoB) and leading procurement projects when new products/services are introduced in the production (Procurement for Manufacturing/PfM)
• Establishing frame agreement and sourcing events with suppliers (potential suppliers)
• Identify savings opportunities
• Support implementation of Circular 4 Zero (C4Z) in our local procurement strategy
• Mitigate supply shortage escalations in cooperation with production planners, category managers, sourcing specialists and management
• Handling of vendor complaints
• Maintain overview of all IFP BA external services and locally signed contracts/agreements
• Build and maintain mutually beneficial business relations with vendors Some of our more operational tasks such as creation of purchase orders are handled by colleagues in India, and therefore you will collaborate with them. Furthermore, we are expanding this collaboration to also include purchase order follow up and you will take part in implementing this process.
You will proactively contribute to optimisation activities while ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk procurement guidelines and rules. We focus on further digitalizing our and we hope that you will support us in this journey. Qualifications
• M.Sc. Business and Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar / bachelor's degree combined with relevant experience or equivalent knowledge through relevant practical experience
• Experience within GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) pharmaceutical production processes and business is desirable
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems (SAP ECC), BSM systems (Coupa) and PowerBI or willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and strategic skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement/management skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Furthermore, as an individual you are expected to be:
