Are you an experienced buyer in the field of Category Management looking for a new and exciting challenge? Then this is the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level and influence the development of strategic buying at Semco Maritime!
You will join our highly skilled and dedicated team in our Sourcing department in the Oil & Gas Division. Here you will be a key player in terms of ensuring our projects adhere to the schedules and deadlines by handling the procurement process for many exciting projects in the offshore energy industry.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new Strategic Buyer, you will be supporting our Oil & Gas division with Sourcing and Procurement support. You will become responsible for your own categories and develop the approach to these in close corporation with suppliers and internal customers.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Your qualifications and skills
We expect that you have a relevant supply chain or technical education and 3-5 years of experience within Strategic Procurement. It is essential for the position that you have knowledge of and comfort in negotiations, as well as a desire for a large collaboration surface.

- Developing category strategies
- Handling the sourcing process for goods and services for projects and support functions
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the different aspects of procurement
- Assisting the legal department with contract development
- Supporting the implementation of the setups you develop
Your qualifications and skills
We expect that you have a relevant supply chain or technical education and 3-5 years of experience within Strategic Procurement. It is essential for the position that you have knowledge of and comfort in negotiations, as well as a desire for a large collaboration surface.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- Experience with Strategic Procurement
- Beneficial: Experience with Category Management and/or procurement/purchasing for the offshore industry
- Knowledge of supplier and contract negotiation
- A solid business understanding
- Fluency in English and Danish, written and verbal
