Supply Planning ensures the smooth execution of the planning processes, guarantees availability of the products for our customers, and monitors the optimal inventory quality and deployment across the whole chain.

Your Mission…

As the Nordic Supply Planning Manager CPD, you are responsible for the management and development of a highly talented team of five supply planners. The supply planning manager is responsible for the implementation of our supply planning strategy with purpose to optimize service level, inventory management and drive as front runner our sustainability agenda. Your role is vital in terms of stakeholder management within the operations department including strong collaboration with demand planning, central S&OP teams, customer care and subcontracting teams.

Importantly, the role is member of the CPD Regional Leadership Team, composed of the division’s senior managers across all functions. In this way you contribute essentially to an integrated way of running our business (with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance), while you represent the supply planning interests in the way our decisions are made.

The role reports to the Nordic Supply Chain Director CPD.

You will…

• Coordinate the supply planning activities, including stock strategy and optimization of flows to maximize product availability, customer satisfaction at optimized costs.

• Monitor stock levels and supply parameters in alignment with service level objectives and the global inventory targets.

• Manage quality of stock in accordance with budget objectives in terms of stock quality, analyzing obsolete and slow-moving inventory, and defining and implementing action plans to improve them.

• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as out-of-stock contributors, service rate, and inventory levels and placement, and communicate attention points towards relevant stakeholders downstream (Nordic operations) or Upstream (European S&OP teams).

• Collaborate with physical distribution teams to ensure optimized flows in terms of transportation inbound flows and stock deployment within our Nordic warehouses.

• Manage the supply planning team with focus on people development, while ensuring knowledge transfer and expertise upskilling.

• Participate in projects that impact the supply chain, initiated by the DGO and DOP, and contribute to their successful implementation.

• Implement best practices in supply planning, driving the achievement of objectives and leading the development and execution of improvement plans.

• Coordinate the S&OP processes across different entities, including factories and Nordic demand planning, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.

Your are...

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate holistic understanding in demand and supply planning and have solid professional experience, preferably in the FMCG industry. A human-centric and team-orientated approach is essential in addition to the following:

• At least five years of working experience within Supply chain, manufacturing, distribution management or similar roles.

• Education within Supply Chain management, Engineering, business administration, or related field.

• Strong leadership and team management competences.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Experience working with supply planning systems and BI tools (SAP ECC, APO, PowerBI).

• Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, agile and continuous improvement working methodologies.
