The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services on a global scale within the energy sector. You will be working closely together with very skilled structural engineers and designers in a team with a wealth of experience to draw upon, which together with great variety in tasks give you a unique possibility for a steep learning curve.</p><p> </p><p>Our services cover a broad range of services within the Structural discipline. We cover all phases of a project including concept and feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-up engineering during fabrication.</p><p> </p><p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Work as technical designer on multidisciplinary offshore projects focusing on topsides structures. Project types can vary from initial studies to full detailed design projects and can be greenfield designs as well as brownfield modification projects.</li><li>Develop 3D CAD models of structural steel in combination with a team of designers, and extract and prepare of 2D drawings.</li><li>Perform 2D drafting of several types of structural design and details.</li><li>Prepare MTOs and Weight Reports for structures.</li><li>Perform discipline check and interdisciplinary check of drawings and 3D models.</li><li>Coordinate with the global structural engineering team and other disciplines.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.
