We – Maersk Special Projects & Logistics - are now recruiting for a Customer Solutions Engineer for our sales team. The position is located in Aarhus.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Customer solutions engineer in Special Project Logistics you will be part of a winning team with high growth ambitions within our area of responsibility ( Aid & Relief and Government & Defense).
- You’ll be working closely with Sales to address the customer’s requirements with cost-effective, high quality end to end logistics solutions which can be effectively implemented and executed
- Ensure internal alignment on customer’s goals and marketing strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional Maersk teams to develop and execute omni channel digital marketing strategies that maximize value for customers
- As a customer advocate, ensure customer needs are met and account issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed
- Manage the Allocation process and coordinate with customers to ensure they deliver on the commitment.
- Manage the tender handling process and co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and competitive offer is submitted to the customers
- You will develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions based on identified best technical and organizational solutions.
- Cover all transport modes(sea, air, road, rail, charter) with support and knowledge-sharing from your colleagues.

The strong candidate has:
- Relevant experience from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or similar. Experience within Aid & Relief or Government & Defence is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Experience in account management
- Experience with crosstrade and incoterms
- A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
- Commercial knowledge and interest
- Relationship building skills, both with customers but also internal stakeholders
- High-level logistics product understanding including how it solves different customer pains
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written in English
