The position Together with a strong team, you will be responsible to drive strategy development across Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Devices, and Sustainability (CSDS). You will have the opportunity to be part of a wide range of assignments involving a variety of stakeholders. You will:
  • Conduct scenario analysis, develop business cases, and make recommendations to facilitate strategic decision-making within manufacturing and supply chain, in collaboration with the line of business and SVP management team.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from different functions and levels of the company to analyse exploratory scenarios and assess their impact on Product Supply, Quality, and IT, as well as on Novo Nordisk as a whole.
  • Assignments and analyses are wide-ranging, from capacity expansions to the development of new organizational set-ups - so you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and have an impact in many different areas.
  • You will report to the Director of CSDS Strategy and Business Development. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you should have:
  • Hold a relevant master’s degree with at least four years of professional experience in the field of strategy, management consulting, or in a similar function
  • proven track record of driving strategic projects and advising Senior Leadership
  • well-developed toolbox for working with business cases and strategic analyses
  • strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and holistic problem-solving approach
  • excellent communication, stakeholder management, and informal leadership skills
  • excellent command over both written and spoken English and have a relevant business background.

You approach tasks with a positive attitude, consider multiple perspectives, and deliver high-quality results. The position requires a high level of strategic thinking as well as attention to detail, as you will impact important long-term decisions for Novo Nordisk. About the department Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Devices, and Sustainability (CSDS) is an area with more than 2,400 employees based in Denmark, Japan, Algeria, Iran, and Russia. CSDS is responsible for device, needle, contract, and local manufacturing, as well as sourcing across Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites. As a Strategy Partner, you will be part of the dynamic and evolving CSDS Strategy and Business Development team, working across the area to deliver a business development agenda that integrates Strategy, Strategic Finance, Environment + Health and Safety (EHS), cLEAN®, Communications, and Quality & Compliance.
